CROPT’s Buddy Mentoring Project has achieved Approved Provider Standard
CROPT believes that in every individual there is something to be valued and nurtured. In line with our charitable objectives and founding ideals, we endeavour to transform lives and create safer and more inclusive communities.
We will achieve our vision by providing support for offenders, ex-offenders and those at risk of offending in the following ways - By informing communities of offender needs; Individual mentoring and group support; Using our trading arm to build employment skills and help sustain resources; Active involvement of clients in planning and service delivery; Building partnerships with other agencies working to reduce offending
The Objects of CROPT as set out and agreed by the Charities Commission are to advance the education of the public in the underlying causes and appropriate responses to offending behaviours; To promote the care, resettlement and rehabilitation of offenders , ex-offenders and those at risk of offending in order to reduce rates of re-offending and contribute to the creation of safer communities.

I was really surprised when I first heard about Circles. I couldn't understand why members of the public wanted to meet me other than to get at me. From the first meeting I was told why each person was there and understood that they, like me, wanted no more victims.
