CROPT has an established positive track record of mentoring activities and in 2014 achieved Approved Provider Standard by Mentoring & Befriending Foundation.

Mentoring and befriending underpins all CROPT activities, whether digging at the allotment, support in a Circle or through a specific mentoring programme.

CROPT’s mentoring programmes offer individualistic, flexible support and actively engages with those individuals classed as ‘hardest to reach’.

Buddy Mentoring Project:  Works on a one-to-one basis with offenders on a community order.  The aim is to progress individuals on to training, voluntary placement or employment when they are ready.   Outcomes include increased confidence, accessing community bases, motivation, help with CV’s, interviews, applications, signposting, etc.

Funded by Achieve North West, HMPPS ESF Co-Financing
